46° North Media was created around a simple idea: good photography and good service should go hand in hand.
We’re an independent photography and media company based in Southwest Washington, specialising in architectural, commercial and real estate photography.
Being small is intentional. It allows us to concentrate on quality, personal service and attention to detail. Every assignment matters, whether we’re photographing a home, a commercial space or a piece of architecture.
Central to our photography is something we call the Architecture of Light — the way light reveals form, defines a space and changes how we experience a building. It’s something we look for every time we pick up a camera.
This blog is where we’ll share recent projects, the places and people we encounter, and some of the thinking behind the photographs — including more about the Architecture of Light and how it shapes the way we see.
